This process allows you to transfer live incidents from your dispatch center to another PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point), including live stream, location, and incident notes.

πŸ“Œ When & Why You Use It

  • When a call is misrouted or belongs to another jurisdiction.

  • To seamlessly hand off incident data to partner agencies.


Prerequisites

βœ… Receiving PSAP must also use Prepared Live or Assist.
βœ… You must have Dispatcher or Supervisor role.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the active incident from the Dashboard.

  2. Click Actions in the top right.

  3. Select Transfer Incident.

  4. Search for the receiving PSAP by name.

  5. Review the incident details being transferred.

  6. Click Transfer Now.
