π What This Process Does
Single Sign-On (SSO) allows users to log into Prepared using your agencyβs existing identity provider (IdP) credentials.
π When & Why You Need It
Simplifies login for users by eliminating extra passwords.
Ensures CJIS and SOC2 compliance by enforcing centralized identity controls.
Prerequisites

Prepared Admin Access

Agency Identity Provider (IdP) (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace)

Metadata URL or File from your IdP
β
Prepared SSO URL and Audience URI (provided by Prepared Support)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Enable SSO in Prepared
Log into Prepared as an Admin.
Go to Settings > Single Sign-On.
Select Configure SSO.
Enter IdP Details
Paste the Metadata URL from your IdP, or upload the metadata file.
Enter the SSO Audience URI provided by Prepared.
Save your configuration.
Test SSO Access
Sign out of Prepared.
Go to your Prepared login page.
Click Login with SSO.
Confirm your identity through your agencyβs IdP.
