Outcome Statement

This section explains how to configure and use Prepared’s location services to track callers’ locations in real-time.


Overview

Prepared’s Location Services provide GPS tracking, breadcrumbs, What3Words location sharing, and z-axis tracking (where available).


Prerequisites

✅ Ensure Prepared Assist Plus or higher plan.
✅ Caller must consent to location sharing.


Step-by-Step Instructions

Enable Location Services

  1. Open the Dashboard.

  2. During an active incident, click Request Location.

  3. Confirm the caller’s phone number and send the request.

  4. If the caller consents, their real-time location will appear.

Review Location Data

  1. GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude) appear on the map.

  2. If enabled, What3Words location also displays.

  3. Review location accuracy and uncertainty radius.
