Overview

The Radio Transcription Error Reporting feature allows you to flag incorrect transcriptions directly within the dispatch experience.

When you submit a correction, the system uses that feedback to improve future transcription accuracy. This helps reduce repeated errors and enhances overall system performance.


When to Use This Feature

Use this feature when:

  • A word or phrase is transcribed incorrectly

  • The transcription does not match the actual audio

  • Clarity is critical for documentation or response accuracy


Before You Begin

  • Ensure audio playback is available for the transcription

  • Confirm the correct wording before submitting a correction


Report a Transcription Error

  1. Play back the radio transmission.

  2. Identify the incorrect word or phrase in the transcription.

  3. Highlight the incorrect text.

  4. Click Report Transcription Error.

  5. Enter the correct transcription.

  6. Submit the report.


What Happens After You Submit

  • Your correction is sent to Prepared.

  • The system uses this feedback to improve transcription accuracy.

  • Over time, repeated errors are reduced as the system learns from user input.
