You must validate:
What number call-takers see
Whether original caller ID is preserved
Whether internal logic requires special handling
How to Test Caller ID Behavior
Place test call from known mobile number.
Trigger transfer to PSAP.
Observe:
Caller ID displayed
Any formatting changes
Confirm internal CAD or logging systems handle this correctly.
Caller ID confusion is often misdiagnosed as system failure.
