Your agency must forward the designated non-emergency number to ANET.

How to Configure Forwarding (High-Level Steps)

  1. Identify the non-emergency number to forward.

  2. Coordinate with:

    • Carrier, or

    • PBX administrator

  3. Configure unconditional forwarding to ANET-provided number.

  4. Confirm forwarding does not create conditional loops.

  5. Place test call.

  6. Confirm ANET answers consistently.

Forwarding must be clean and direct.
