How to Configure a Transfer

Step 1 – Define Destination

  1. Open intent action settings.

  2. Select “Transfer.”

  3. Enter destination number.


Step 2 – Configure Fallback Number

  1. Enter backup transfer line.

  2. Confirm it does not loop to ANET.

  3. Validate routing with telephony team.


Step 3 – Test Routing

  1. Place controlled test call.

  2. Trigger transfer condition.

  3. Confirm arrival at correct line.

  4. Validate caller ID behavior.

Routing must be validated end-to-end.
